DecisionSurface™– the flagship of the patent pending DecisionAsset Framework– is a Collaborative Decision Management framework that was built from the ground up to enable extended, virtual teams make better decisions.
Through PURUS’ proprietary concept called the DecisionScenario™, teams can – within a simple virtual space:
- meet virtually;
- assemble all of the “evidence” in its relevant context needed to make a decision, including:
- documents, spreadsheets, images etc,
- business intelligence queries into existing enterprise systems,
- conversations and
- collaborative discussions.
This entire context that ultimately leads to a decision is then captured and stored as a “DecisionAsset™”– retrievable, reviewable and if desirable, re-usable at a later date when posed with a new decision with similar attributes.
DecisionSurface™ is not a web site. It is a fully featured, always-connected Windows-based application that can be deployed as a hosted “software as a service” or deployed inside an organizations IT infrastructure. It works with existing IT investments and can be deployed in minutes with little or no assistance. New participants can be added to the environment with simple and intuitive email invitation. Updates to content inside a scenario can be received on your mobile device, on email or within the application.

To date, initial implementations of DecisionSurface™ have been carried out by the PURUS consulting team. Ultimately, both third-party developers and industry-specific channel partners will be able to deploy — through its open development environment — extend the framework to deliver their applications and solutions using pre-configured DecisionSurface™ industry solutions.
